Prayers For Everything is a Christian editorial and publishing website associated with Barchi Publishing and Christ’s Eternal Light Ministries. For questions about personal data, or to exercise your privacy rights, please use our Contact Us page.

Who is responsible for your information

This website is operated under the independent publishing name Barchi Publishing. For questions about the processing of personal data, contact us through info@prayersforeverything.com or the Contact Us form.

Information we collect and why

Depending on how you interact with this website, we may process information you provide in correspondence, prayer requests and newsletter subscriptions, as well as limited technical information required to operate and secure the website. We use information only for the purposes described below.

Personal prayer requests

Our prayer request form collects your first name, email address, selected subject and the message you choose to submit. We use these details to review your request and respond privately by email. The form is intended only for adults aged 18 or older and requires an affirmative age confirmation.

Prayer requests may reveal information about health, religious beliefs or other sensitive circumstances. We ask for your separate, explicit consent before accepting and processing this information. You may withdraw that consent through Contact Us; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. Please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information, particularly personal details about other people.

We record the date and version of your explicit privacy consent and your age confirmation. Requests are handled in a restricted administrative area. Our retention procedure provides for completed requests to be deleted 90 days after they are marked as sent. Pending requests are reviewed within 90 days of receipt and deleted when no longer necessary, subject to applicable legal obligations. Automatic deletion is not yet active, so these periods currently require manual review and deletion. You may request earlier erasure where applicable.

Submitting a prayer request does not subscribe you to our newsletter. Newsletter subscriptions are managed separately and require your explicit consent.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and consent to send editorial updates, prayers, reflections and occasional book news. Our email service provider is Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). Subscription uses an email confirmation step (double opt-in). You may unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter or contact us to withdraw consent. Relevant subscription and consent records may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance with legal requirements.

Cookies and website analytics

We use essential technologies to operate the website and store your cookie preference in your browser. Google Analytics 4 is configured to load only when you accept optional analytics cookies. If you consent, Google may process page views, device and browser information, online identifiers and usage data. You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time using Cookie Preferences in the footer. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area under applicable safeguards.

Some website resources, such as fonts or embedded services, may involve requests to external providers. Such providers may receive technical information, including your IP address. We will review third-party resources and analytics retention settings as part of our ongoing privacy and security checks.

Donations and external purchases

Voluntary contributions are processed through PayPal. We do not collect your full payment-card details on this website. Depending on the transaction, PayPal may share the contributor’s name, email address, amount, date and transaction reference with us. We use those details to reconcile payments, answer questions and meet any applicable recordkeeping obligations. The retention period depends on the relevant legal and accounting requirements.

Links to Amazon, PayPal and other third-party websites lead to services governed by their own privacy notices.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent for newsletter communications and on your explicit consent when you voluntarily submit sensitive information through the prayer request form. We may rely on legitimate interests to answer general enquiries and maintain website security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Where applicable, we process payment-related records to meet legal obligations and handle related enquiries.

Hosting, service providers and international processing

Our website is hosted through Register.it. Hosting and security services may process technical connection data, such as IP addresses and server logs, to deliver and protect the website. We also use service providers such as Brevo, Google and PayPal for the functions described above. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, relevant legal safeguards must apply, depending on the provider and processing arrangement.

Sharing, security and retention

We do not sell personal information submitted through our forms. We disclose information to service providers as necessary for hosting, email delivery, analytics (when consented to), or payment processing, or where legally required. We apply access controls and other reasonable security measures. Contact form messages are delivered by email and retained only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and meet applicable obligations. Prayer request retention is described above; newsletter and transaction records are retained as described in their respective sections.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To make a request, use Contact Us.

Children’s privacy

Our prayer request form is available only to people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit prayer requests from children. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

AI-assisted editorial content

Some articles, illustrations or other editorial materials may be created or edited with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Such content is not a substitute for professional medical, legal or other individual advice. This does not mean that personal prayer requests are automatically submitted to AI services; any such processing would require a separate review and appropriate disclosure.

Updates to this policy

We may update this notice when services, processing practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top indicates the date of this version.
